- CLOROTEKAL (chloroprocaine hydrochloride injection) is a preservative-free sterile non pyrogenic ester local anesthetic solution for injection indicated for the induction of spinal anaesthesia by intrathecal administration, in adults undergoing surgical procedures no longer than 40 minutes in duration.
- Clorotekal is supplied as a single-dose sterile, clear, colorless solution in a Type I glass ampoule that provides 50 mg of chloroprocaine hydrochloride in 5 mL aqueous solution (concentration: 10 mg/mL), equivalent to 44.05 mg/5 mL (8.81 mg/mL) chloroprocaine. CLOROTEKAL is supplied in a box of 10 ampoules containing 5 mL of solution for injection.
